Supply Teaching Assistant

Connex Education is working with welcoming and supportive primary schools in Long Eaton who are seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to join their teams. The role involves supporting classroom activities, working one-to-one or with small groups, and assisting teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Schools are seeking patient Teaching Assistants who can build strong relationships with pupils and contribute positively to school life.

Assignment details

Roles are available immediately, with both full time and part time opportunities available. Assignments may include day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, depending on availability and school need.

Person specification
  • Recent UK-based experience supporting pupils in a primary school or similar setting
  • Confident supporting learning activities on a one-to-one or small-group basis
  • Patient, flexible, and strong communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
