Teacher Active are seeking a highly skilled, qualified HLTA to join a team in a wonderful school in the Long Eaton area. If you have a passion for supporting students and creating a positive learning environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The primary school is known for it’s excellent Ofsted reports and welcoming atmosphere.

The role will need to be for someone who has certain qualities; super communication skills, a patient and caring nature, ability to work collaboratively with both students and staff and someone with a commitment to safeguarding. You will work alongside the teacher in the classroom, but also providing PPA cover. You will be able to show great classroom management. The role will be full time, 5 days a week working across all year groups from EYFS to Key Stage 2 (KS2).

It is a long term placement, with a possibility of it going temporary to permanent.

The successful HLTA will have:

HLTA qualification or higher
Experience as working as a HLTA in either KS1 or KS2
Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication skills
Positive and flexible attitude
