A fast-growing media technology company is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to guide architecture and development across a modern web application platform. This hybrid role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and system ownership.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performing web applications

Build and maintain full-stack features using Ruby on Rails and React

Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions

Mentor developers and establish coding best practices and architectural patterns

Drive improvements in code quality, system reliability, and infrastructure scalability

You Bring:

5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with a strong background in Ruby and React

Deep understanding of software architecture, Dev Ops, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product and business teams

Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement

A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have:

Experience in the media, content, or platform space

Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems

Knowledge of CI/CD, performance tuning, and observability tools
