The Quality Manager is responsible for formulating, implementing, and administering the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) and associated strategic initiatives to achieve both short- and long-term quality improvement objectives. This role drives continuous improvement across manufacturing operations with a strong focus on reducing warranty claims, minimizing customer concerns, and improving internal quality performance.
In addition to core quality responsibilities, this role oversees Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a safe working environment. The Quality Manager partners closely with plant leadership, operations, and external stakeholders to support operational excellence and compliance.
This role will site ONSITE in Long Branch, NJ.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in manufacturing and/or quality roles.
- Thorough working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards quality systems.
- Experience administering and improving formal Quality Management Systems.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation assistance provided; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Long Branch, NJ.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), such as:
Six Sigma Black Belt | Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) - Prior experience managing third-party and external agency audits.
- EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
