Pay Range: $28.41 – $37.42 per hour

The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for obtaining standard and complex recordings, as well as special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures. The candidate will perform inpatient, outpatient and portable EEG testing, assist with long-term video monitoring, and perform other neurodiagnostic duties as required.

• Obtain standard and complex recordings and special procedures: EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.
• Perform inpatient, outpatient and portable EEG testing.
• Assist with long-term video monitoring testing and be on-call for EEG and LTM patients.
• Select appropriate electrode combinations and apply suitable electrodes using the 10/20 International Electrode Placement System.
• Hook up, clean up and take call for Long Term Video Monitoring testing.
• Ensure proper electrode placement and perform necessary recordings.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program or on the job training required.
• Neuroanatomy course a plus.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience.
• EEG Tech Certification required within 1 year of hire.

• Must be able to take on-call shifts.

• Obtain standard and complex recordings, special procedures, EEG recording and advanced testing procedures.
• Ability to be on-call for EEG and LTM patients.
• Able to hook up and clean up for Long Term Video Monitoring testing.
• Select predetermined electrode combinations and apply electrodes per the 10/20 system.
