We are hiring a Transportation Technician to safely deliver and pick up sterilized surgical instruments between facilities and healthcare customers in the Long Beach area. This role requires reliable driving, attention to detail, and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a company van or truck for scheduled delivery routes
- Use GPS navigation to complete daily routes efficiently
- Load/unload carts and totes (push/pull up to 400 lbs)
- Obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) signatures and maintain delivery logs
- Follow PPE, safety, and DOT driving guidelines
- Perform basic vehicle checks and keep vehicle clean
- 1+ year delivery or route driving experience
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Ability to push/pull heavy carts (up to 400 lbs)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
