Leak Repair Technician

* A high school diploma is required; further education in a technical field or relevant college coursework is preferred.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial operations or maintenance roles preferred.

* Versatile in handling various tasks and adapting to changing priorities.

* Able to meet deadlines efficiently.

* Familiarity with plant maintenance and repair is beneficial.

* Able to follow supervisors' instructions precisely.

* Valid driver's license required.

* Involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings.

* Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients.

* Working near production machinery with high noise levels.

* Required to use personal protective equipment.

* Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions.

* Traveling to various sites may be required.

* Must be physically able to walk, climb, and perform field duties.

* Effective communication abilities.

* Good observational skills.

* Manual dexterity for routine office and field tasks.

* Able to travel to off-site locations when necessary.

* Skilled in multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Environment:

* Based at a branch or on-site location.

Physical Demands:

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. * HPC

* Performs basic on-line repairs including drill and taps, adjusting, packing, bonnets, flanges, thread leaks and connectors.

* Assists with advanced repairs such as fabrication, measuring and installation, valve repacking, etc.

* Assists in recording repair information for on-site programs.

* Obtains the proper work permits to perform work in operating areas.

* Completes daily work sheets in an accurate and timely manner.

* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* Works closely with management to maintain customer requirements and satisfaction while ensuring that the company's goals and standards are met.

* Must use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to develop effective partnerships to meet mutual goals and objectives,

* Must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze data, evaluate situations and identify problems or opportunities, including likely causes.

* Demonstrates initiative, planning work and carrying out tasks without detailed instructions; makes constructive suggestions; prepares for problems or opportunities in advance and undertakes additional responsibilities.
