Overview
The Pipefitter is responsible for selecting the appropriate type and size of pipes and related materials, including supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, based on job specifications.
Responsibilities- They install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Performing measurements, cutting, threading, and welding pipes as needed.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to complete installations accurately.
- Inspecting and testing piping systems for leaks, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
