• Greet customers, receive food orders, repeat orders, charge appropriate price for each menu item, receive correct tender, provide correct change.
• Enact gift cards requested by customers.
• Be familiar and up-to-date with California Fish Grill Restaurant’s menu and prices.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, fast manner.
• Make corrections to customer orders quickly and efficiently.
• Identify counterfeit money and respond accordingly.
• Verify age before serving alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure customer satisfaction fully.
• Report to work in a neat, clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene.
• Keep work area neat and clean at all times.
• Clean and maintain equipment used.
• Complete in‑service training, maintain acceptable attendance, comply with uniform, dress, and hygiene codes, and perform all assigned duties.

• Support the mission, values, and vision of California Fish Grill and the facility.
• Support, cooperate with, and implement specific procedures and programs for safety, fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, security, and maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality of all data including guest credit card information.
• Ensure compliance with current laws and policies to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal or discriminatory behavior.
• Support and participate in teamwork: cooperate and work together with co‑workers, plan and complete duties with minimal supervision, use tactful communication in sensitive situations, follow up appropriately with supervisors or guests, and promote positive public relations with community.

• High school diploma or GED and 1‑2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Prior experience in cashier or food service positions.
• Valid Serv Safe® or other approved food handler certification.
• High level of integrity and honesty.

Restaurant environment. Employees may be required to work beyond normal hours to meet customer needs.
