In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $17.00 and $18.00 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Tips: average +$2-$3 per hour.

Full time: scheduled 32-40 hours a week; weekend availability is a must.

Our dishwasher/food preparer is a vital part of the team. They are responsible for cleaning all the dishware designated for our products. 90% of this role is maintaining the dish efficiency in the kitchen and 10% is assisting with food preparation.

• Manage & operate dishwashing, keeping the back area clean and organized
• Take pride in daily cleaning (sinks, drains, metro shelves, trash bins, floors, walk-in freezer/refrigerator, grease traps where applicable)
• Prepare baked goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, scooping cookies, cutting bars/cookies, mixing butter creams
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety codes and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the manager on duty
• Operate bakery equipment according to recipes/standard operating procedures (e.g., mixers, induction burners, dishwasher)
• Monitor cleaning supplies inventory levels

• Previous dishwashing or entry level food handling experience is a plus
• Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment

• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
