• Demonstrate excellent client/pet relations in waiting area and exam rooms.
• Exceed client expectations of service.
• Provide compassionate nursing care to all patients.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance.
• Conduct cursory examination of animals and recognize potential patient issues.
• Communicate findings clearly to a doctor.
• Maintain record‑keeping and fill prescriptions/dispense medications as prescribed.

• Minimum three years of experience, including intubation/anesthesia.

• Cross‑training for front‑office duties; telephone and computer skills required.

• College or college‑equivalent education required for a registered veterinary technician.
• Dependable attendance, able to lift 40 lbs, willing to work long or irregular hours, and maintain constant standing/bending for an 8‑hour day.

• Phlebotomy.
• IV catheter placement.
• Prepare and restrain animals during procedures.
• Perform anesthetic induction and monitoring.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform cutaneous and subcutaneous sutures.
• Apply bandages and/or splints.
• Wound care.
• Use stethoscope and otoscope.
• Advise pet owners on proper care.

• $1,000 sign‑on bonus.
• 5/8 work week (Monday‑Friday; no weekends).
