To qualify for this RN-OR position, you must have a California Registered Nurse license and an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) card. A minimum of two years of acute hospital clinical experience is required, or you may substitute a master's degree in case management or nursing for one year of experience. You should be able to pass an annual inter-rater reliability test for utilization review products and apply clinical guidelines to ensure progression of care.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities. Prior operating room experience is highly valued for this position.
