2nd Shift Registered Nurse - Occupational Health

2nd Shift Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a per‑diem contract. Opportunity with Yoh's well‑known manufacturing client located in Long Beach, CA. This is a solo clinic that offers occupational and preventative care for employees. Similar responsibilities to urgent care but you are only seeing adults and it is not fast‑paced. Must be comfortable working by yourself as you will be the only medical professional onsite (with remote support available).

Shifts: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Dates needed so far: 3/10, 3/17, 3/18, 3/25, 3/31, 4/1, 4/2, 4/7, 4/8, 4/9, 4/14‑4/16, 4/21‑4/23, 4/28‑4/30.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
  • Minimum three years’ experience as a nurse
  • Previous experience highly recommended: occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, corrections, school nursing, and/or family medicine type setting
  • Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
  • Administer first‑aid
  • Provide wellness materials/information
  • Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc., and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • Documentation using EMR (EPIC)
  • Respond to medical emergencies

  • BLS/CPR certified (hands‑on courses only—strictly online not accepted)
  • Yearly TB (PPD) or Quanti

    FERON Gold test
