• Provide overall leadership for plant operations, set manufacturing vision and goals/objectives, and align resources.
• Develop associates.
• Support and enforce a sustainable and safe work culture with a goal towards zero injuries and zero environmental impact.
• Support a culture of product safety—ensuring all products manufactured meet customer requirements and specifications, and enforce quality standards.
• Support metrics, KPIs, and scorecards to ensure performance targets and strategic objectives are met.
• Support lean manufacturing concepts, tools, and techniques to ensure high performance work systems.
• Collaborate with external departments to meet customer goals and expectations.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to balance and ensure timely production and maintenance needs.
• Direct staff to specific projects to address immediate and future business needs based on knowledge of personnel, production methods, processes, and equipment.
• Establish budgets and maintain ongoing monthly operations expenses.
• Support annual expense and capital budgeting process.
• Identify and implement strategic direction for the department annually.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive improved business performance.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
