The Opportunity:
Lead a Flagship Community in Long Beach
We are conducting a confidential search for a high caliber Executive Director to lead a premier, large scale senior living community in the Long Beach area. This is a flagship leadership role designed for a seasoned operator who thrives in a high volume, fast paced environment.
As Executive Director, you will have full autonomy over a significant campus operation, overseeing a multi departmental team and ensuring the highest standards of resident care, hospitality, and financial performance.
Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a "Scale Expert" someone who has successfully managed large communities with high resident census and extensive staffing needs. If you are a Compliance Minded leader with a deep working knowledge of California Title 22 regulations, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, including P&L oversight, census growth, and resident satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Title 22 regulations; lead the community to successful outcomes in state surveys.
- Team Development: Recruit, hire, and mentor department heads and staff to maintain a culture of excellence.
- Strategic Growth: Drive occupancy and revenue through strategic community relations and operational efficiency.
- Licensure: Active California RCFE Administrator Certification is mandatory. (Dual NHA/RCFE license is a plus).
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven experience as an Executive Director within the RCFE/Assisted Living space.
- Scale: Demonstrated history of managing large-scale campuses (90+ beds preferred).

Experience limited to small Board & Care (6-bed) facilities will not qualify for this role. - Location: Must reside within a commutable distance to Long Beach, CA.
