Warehouse Manager
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure optimal productivity and safety. The ideal candidate will lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinate logistics, and maintain compliance with company standards and regulations.
Warehouse Manager Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Manage receiving, storage, RA department, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to meet productivity goals
- Ensure accurate procedures through regular audits and recordkeeping
- Monitor safety standards and enforce proper warehouse safety procedures
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and delivery providers
- Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment maintenance schedules
- Track key performance metrics and prepare regular operations reports
- Handle issues related to damaged or missing inventory and resolve shipment discrepancies
Warehouse Manager Qualifications and Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred). Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 4–6 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Experience using inventory software or ERP systems, or Net Suite experience is a plus.
- OSHA certification or other warehouse safety training is a plus.
- CTPAT experience is a plus.
