Phlebotomist II Site Lead - Long Beach, CA, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends
Pay range: $25.50 - $30.35 / hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Represents the face of our company to patients. The PSR II–Site Lead draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established procedures. The role may direct daily activity at a PSC or In-Office Phlebotomy and lead one or more PSR on site. The position demonstrates Quest Leadership Behaviors with focus on process excellence and confidentiality.
This role may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center, in a house call environment, long-term care, or business needs may dictate otherwise.
Education
:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
License/Certificate
:
Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states, e.g., California, Nevada, Washington and Louisiana) (Preferred).
- Collect specimens according to established procedures (including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams).
- Administer oral solutions as trained.
- Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems or directory of services.
- Complete data entry requirements (patient registration, test orders, standing orders).
- Enter billing information and collect payments; protect assets and card data.
- Handle specimen labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing as required by test orders.
