Under the direction of the Administrative and Assets Manager (Supervisor I), the Analyst II will function as the District Training Coordinator and Management Support within the California Geologic Energy Management Division's Long Beach Office (Southern District). The incumbent will provide a variety of complex analytical and administrative duties in support of the district’s business operations. The incumbent is responsible for identifying and analyzing processes to improve the operating efficiency and effectiveness including program evaluation and planning;

data analysis and report formulation; process development; project management; training coordination; and consultative services to Management. The incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of independence, initiative, critical thinking, and creativity.
