We’re working with a well-established trust company looking to add an Assistant Compliance Officer to its growing compliance function. This role is ideal for someone who understands the operational realities of trust services and enjoys partnering with teams to ensure regulatory expectations are met–without losing sight of the client experience.

What You’ll Be Doing Compliance & Risk Oversight
  • Support the ongoing execution of the company’s compliance program, ensuring alignment with fiduciary and regulatory standards
  • Review trust account activity for AML, KYC, and suspicious activity considerations
  • Assist with monitoring client transactions, collateral activity, and account documentation
  • Perform customer onboarding reviews, including Trust, AML, and KYC documentation
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence and ongoing client reviews in accordance with BSA and OFAC requirements
  • Partner with client service and trust administration teams to resolve documentation gaps efficiently
Corporate Trust & Reporting Support
  • Assist with compliance reviews related to corporate trust administration and fiduciary accounts
  • Support reporting, data analysis, and compliance tracking for internal and regulatory use
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and audit‑ready documentation
Regulatory Exams & Audits
  • Help prepare responses for regulatory exams and internal/external audits
  • Compile requested materials, perform research, and assist with follow‑up items
  • Support updates to compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Assist with employee training initiatives to reinforce regulatory awareness and best practices
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and flag potential impacts to leadership
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with in a trust company, corporate trust group, bank, or financial services firm
  • Hands‑on exposure to client services, collateral management, trust administration, or compliance operations
  • Working knowledge of AML, KYC, BSA, and OFAC requirements
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working cross‑functionally
  • Clear communicator who can balance regulatory rigor with client service expectations
