Facilities Manager

A leading advanced manufacturing and aerospace technology organization in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Facilities Manager to support facility operations at a high-tech production site.

This role focuses on maintaining the reliability and performance of critical building systems that support precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial facility maintenance, utilities, and building infrastructure in a manufacturing or technical environment.

• Operate and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment
• Monitor facility systems and troubleshoot issues impacting production or operations
• Coordinate service and repairs with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and system documentation
• Support equipment installation, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Assist with emergency response and facility issue resolution
• Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and reliability

• 5+ years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or plant engineering
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech facilities
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and building automation systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Experience in aerospace, defense, additive manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing facilities
• Trade certification or technical training in HVAC, electrical, or facilities maintenance
• Experience supporting mission-critical or high-precision production environments
