Aboutthe Role
At Critical Loop, we’re on a mission to make power more accessible and efficient. We’re expanding our Quality Management System to deliver industry-leading reliability and regulatory compliance. We’re seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure our Battery Energy Systems are efficiently built to meet or exceed customer expectations of quality, address production issues, and carry out improvement and automation projects. This is a chance to help a growing company implement a new quality management system efficiently and leveraging the latest automation tools that can minimize time-to-market.
Responsibilities- Participates in the development, certification, and maintenance of the Quality Management System
- Helps create new quality system documents and automate workflows, supporting ISO and UL audits
- Ensures that Battery Energy Systems and other products conform to quality standards.
- Resolve non-conforming material issues arising in production and keep the production line moving.
- Experience in manufacturing operations in an ISO-certified quality management system
- Strong skills in collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira) and developing automated workflows
- Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly and production methods for products involving industrial electronics and controls
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation
- Experience with multiple ISO
9001 audits, specifically in planning internal audits and participating in external audits. - 3 years experience working in a manufacturing quality management system
- Knowledge of UL 9540, NFPA, NEC, and other Battery Energy Storage requirements
- Understanding of ISO, TUV, and UL certification and auditing practices
- BS in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar engineering
