Job Description

Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with delivering the company’s vision of a fully electric transportation future. You will work on a small high‑performing team to deliver fully integrated EV vehicle interior systems, focusing on cost, weight, efficiency, and operational tolerance. The role requires technical expertise, collaboration, and a drive to minimize trade‑offs and ensure efficient end‑to‑end engineering life cycle from ideation to industrialization.

Responsibilities
  • Drive engineering teams towards containment and resolution of issues raised from design reviews, virtual builds, and build events to protect the program’s schedule to start of production (SOP) and ongoing production.
  • Maintain supplier relationships with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries for build events.
  • Monitor work outputs and deliverables for potential systems and vehicle incompatibilities, and opportunities for greater integration, velocity, and collaboration.
  • Ensure problems are transparent, risks identified and proactively mitigate actions within relevant engineering teams.
  • Set agenda for key decisions at each meeting to eliminate bottlenecks and retire risks.
  • Support key decisions working cross‑functionally across engineering, finance, and strategy to reach the right conclusions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management, in an engineering setting involving hardware development.
  • Detailed knowledge of product development process from design, development, validation and integration.
  • Knowledge of the materials, processes & technologies used to deliver Interior engineering content.
  • Proven experience driving progress on multiple projects across multiple locations and timelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, and Jira applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player in dynamic environment, strong system approach, curiosity, continuous improvement.
