About the TeamThe EHS team carries a profound responsibility to keep people and the environments we operate safe while we build the future. We enable safe speed and embed EHS in every process, from the factory floor to the launch pad.
About the Role- Provide expert EHS support to departments across the site by forming a deep understanding of their processes and how EHS can enhance and improve upon them.
- Drive incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Develop and drive initiatives that foster a positive safety culture.
- Prepare and provide support for EHS-related activities and documentation.
- Monitor waste disposal, spill prevention, and assess risks while driving mitigation controls to lower risks.
- Develop and review risk assessments such as JHAs.
- Implement EHS training across various work centers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental Sciences.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in the EHS field.
- Project management experience of various safety programs in a dynamic manufacturing environment, including confined space, crane and rigging, control of hazardous energy, and industrial ergonomics.
- Demonstrate innovative, technical approach to complex incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and EHS policies and procedures.
- Strategic and collaborative mindset with the ability to work across varying departments and levels to provide subject matter expert (SME) EHS support.
- General knowledge and experience with CalOSHA, SCAQMD, DTSC, RCRA and hazardous waste regulations.
- Advance skill in Microsoft Office tools.
- OSHA 30-Hour.
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour.
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) / Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
- EMT certification and experience.
Relativity Space offers competitive salary, equity, generous PTO, sick leave, parental leave, annual learning stipend, and more. Hiring range: $102,000 - $131,000 USD.
