Job SummaryThe Transfer Admissions Lead organizes, plans, and directs the work of the Transfer Admissions Units under the general direction of the Associate Director, Admissions. This position is responsible for the general operations of the admissions cycle, coordination of staff training, and dissemination of information related to admissions to prospective students, departments and colleges, and the general public.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and oversee the workflow of the Transfer Admissions Unit. Train staff, oversee workload assignments, and monitor production. Monitor special populations of students and coordinate with departments and colleges to resolve issues.
- Interpret admission and transfer credit policies, communicate policies and procedures to prospective and current students and campus departments and colleges, and recommend changes in procedures and practices.
- Evaluation of Student Academic Records, Maintenance of Resource Materials, and serve as the primary resource for all transfer admissions issues consulting with the Associate Director of Transfer Admission where appropriate.
- Ensure accuracy of student data, update online admissions information, update online transfer credit information, and maintain the online university application.

CompensationSalary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
- Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $5,000 - $5,667 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training. - CSU Classification Salary Range:
The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,652 - $6,590 per month.
