Overview
We are a children's musical theatre company that serves Long Beach, Torrance, and Orange, CA families with after school programming, productions, and camps. We believe in theatre as a tool for a child's well rounded development.
Role DescriptionThis is a contract on-site role for Musical Theatre Teaching Artists located in Long Beach, CA. The Teaching Artists will be responsible for delivering engaging curriculum, and providing high-quality musical theatre education to students. They will also foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment, effectively manage classroom dynamics, and communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications- Strong Communication and Teaching skills
- Experience in Education and Classroom Management
- Passion for Musical Theatre and Performance Arts
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Degree in Education, Theatre Arts, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience working with young students in a teaching or mentorship role
