Who You AreYou are a highly energetic, engaging people person who loves helping businesses. You will be playing a crucial role in driving business partnerships to support technical assistant training on AI for small businesses. You have experience developing trusted working relationships, garnering respect, and growing influence across business organizations. You are an organized, proactive professional to lead workshop operations, partner outreach, and event coordination across 13 Western states.
Aboutthe Role
This role is responsible for identifying and securing business workshop partners, business conferences, and webinar hosts to increase attendance and performance-based compensation tiers. This is a strategic operations and partnerships role.
Key Responsibilities 1. Workshop & Event Development- Identify and secure webinar partners (Chambers, SBDCs, nonprofits, economic development orgs, trade associations)
- Identify business conferences where we can present
- Identify virtual summits and webinar conferences for speaking opportunities
- Schedule and coordinate 7–10 webinars per month
- Coordinate 1–2 in-person workshops per month
- Track attendance metrics and replay performance
- Research 5–10 qualified organizations per state
- Conduct cold outreach via email and Linked In
- Schedule partnership discovery calls
- Maintain CRM of state contacts
- Provide co-marketing kits (email copy, social copy, event assets)
- Follow up consistently to ensure partner marketing efforts
- Identify annual and quarterly business conferences in each state
- Pitch workshop or speaking segment to conference organizers
- Track speaking opportunities and deadlines
- Maintain a rolling 90-day outreach plan
- Monitor attendance per event
- Implement a replay strategy to increase views (+50 minimum per session)
- Support landing page creation for recorded sessions
- Identify ways to move from a 45 live average toward 80–100 per webinar
- Provide a weekly pipeline report
- Provide a monthly partner performance summary
- Coordinate with the Regional Coach for scheduling alignment
- Ensure all activities align with program requirements
- 2+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or event coordination
- Experience with webinar platforms (Zoom, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Comfortable doing structured outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with chambers, nonprofits, or economic development orgs is a plus
- Understanding of small business ecosystem preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Research and build state-by-state partner list (minimum 5 qualified orgs per state)
- Secure minimum 1–2 in-person workshops per month
- Identify minimum 1 conference opportunity per state per quarter
- Maintain consistent attendance growth strategy
- Meet weekly for status reporting
This is a deliverable-based role aligned with a month-to-month structure.
