Position: Senior Administrative Assistant New Long Beach, CA

Today's aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase:
Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.

Jet Zero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft. It uses up to 50% less fuel and will be built to accommodate zero‑emission hydrogen propulsion. Jet Zero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

What You’ll Do:

Executive Support & Calendar Management

  • Own and manage complex, ever‑changing calendars for multiple senior leaders with competing priorities
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries
  • Prepare executives for meetings with briefing materials, agendas, and follow‑up action items
  • Serve as a trusted bridge knowing when to protect time and when to make exceptions

Office Operations & Administration

  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment for employees and visitors
  • Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, equipment, and facility needs
  • Coordinate catering and food orders for meetings, team events, and company gatherings
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires and ensure a seamless first‑day experience

Event Coordination & Cross‑Functional Support

  • Plan and execute company events, off‑sites, board meetings, and investor visits with precision
  • Partner with People & Talent, Finance, and other teams to support company‑wide initiatives
  • Manage logistics for visiting executives, investors, and high‑profile guests
  • Track and manage budgets for events, travel, and office operations
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Administrative Professional—ideally supporting senior leaders in fast‑paced environments
  • Unflappable under pressure with exceptional judgment and the ability to prioritize ruthlessly when everything feels urgent
  • A proactive problem‑solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative without waiting to be asked
  • Highly proficient in calendar management tools, and travel booking platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with executives, board members, and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a fast‑paced environment
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
Compensation

Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $90,000‑$110,000. We consider a number of factors when presenting a final offer, including geography, internal equity, and years of experience and expertise.
