Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk/ Billing
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk with expertise in billing to join our team in Long Beach, California. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the service industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue customer invoices with precision and attention to deadlines.

- Consolidate and analyze data from various platforms, including Quick Books, Net Suite, and Excel.

- Manage labor hour reports using Excel workbooks and ensure the information is accurate.

- Review customer purchase orders to confirm proper billing and compliance with requirements.

- Collaborate with project managers to verify billing details and address discrepancies.

- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.

- Maintain detailed records of billing activities and assist with reconciliation processes.

- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while handling complex billing tasks.

- Provide support during training sessions to ensure seamless integration into processes. Requirements - Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis, workbook management, and reconciliations.

- Familiarity with Quick Books and/or Net Suite is highly preferred.

- Previous experience in project or construction billing is an advantage.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all billing activities.

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment.

- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications.

- At least one year of experience in a related role.
