Job Description s:
- Prepare and file tax returns for all Westland Group entities, adhering to established standards.
- Conduct a final review of all returns and ensure timely electronic filing of Federal and State returns.
- Collaborate with management to understand financial conditions and the scope of tax knowledge.
- Manage, review, and prepare annual estimated taxes for federal and state deadlines.
- Regularly communicate with in-house counsel and Executive management during peak tax seasons.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in understanding and applying tax laws.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Accurate math and accounting proficiency.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn tax accounting and preparation software.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
