Tax Preparer

Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key part in delivering accurate and timely tax preparation services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

This role offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in tax preparation software and accounting systems.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Utilize Lacerte tax software to efficiently manage tax preparation processes.

- Handle bookkeeping tasks and financial data entry using Quick Books.

- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address tax-related inquiries.

- Research and apply tax laws and regulations to ensure proper filing and compliance.

- Perform calculations for allowances, deductions, and other financial adjustments.

- Maintain organized records of tax documents and financial transactions.

- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client questions and concerns promptly.

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting practices to enhance service quality.

- Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and achieve organizational goals. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation.

- Proficiency in using Lacerte tax software.

- Strong experience with Quick Books for bookkeeping and financial management.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.

- Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with various accounting software systems is a plus.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
