Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Seeking a driven accounting professional for the Financial Reporting Manager position to take a hands-on role in preparing and managing quarterly and annual SEC filings while supporting key accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, or operational accounting, backed by a deep understanding of GAAP. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute across multiple functions while advancing their professional growth within a dynamic organization.

  • Lead the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements, disclosures, and MD&A sections.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and analytical support for all financial disclosures and audit tie-outs.
  • Monitor emerging accounting standards and SEC guidance, driving timely implementation of disclosure and compliance updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Program Finance to ensure alignment of reporting and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and review technical accounting memoranda addressing complex transactions and accounting judgments.
  • Oversee key accounting areas, including stock-based compensation, equity, and other technical topics critical to defense and aerospace operations.
  • Direct the preparation and analysis of consolidated statements of cash flows and related financial reports for each reporting cycle.
