Audit/Tax Senior
Novogradac & Company LLP invites application for an Audit/Tax Senior position. The role offers a dynamic environment focused on client service, professional growth, and teamwork.
Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant will handle tax, audit, and related assignments under the manager’s direction. The role requires minimal supervision, emphasizes engagement management, client relationship building, and team profitability. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available.
Responsibilities- Complete tax and audit projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
- Conduct thorough engagement reviews and identify potential problem areas.
- Assume increasing responsibility for engagement management and propose effective solutions.
- Perform business-specific research, analyze data, compile reports, and make recommendations.
- Strengthen and maintain client relationships through professionalism and service orientation.
- Enhance industry knowledge by completing training courses.
- Increase team profitability by managing time efficiently and contributing ideas.
- Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Work toward obtaining a CPA license if not already obtained.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience or equivalent education and work experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to prioritize a fast-paced workload and manage concurrent priorities.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Professional demeanor with coworkers and clients.
- Meet internal firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.).
- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed and travel domestically if required.

- Compensation: $85,000 - $106,000 depending on experience.
