RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 240 bed facility with 15 RT staff

• Minimum staffing of 3 on night shift

• Patient ratios average 30-40 points per shift

• Work with PB 840 ventilators in ICU

• Use Meditech EMR system

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Preferred certifications: NRP and PALS

• Perform various procedures including administering treatments, ventilator set up, assisting intubations, ABGs, patient/staff education, and all RT therapies

• Experience in ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, or MED SURG preferred

• Must be a team player with collaborative skills

• Autonomy required with flexible scheduling options

• Low turnover environment with opportunity to play key role in NICU and ICU therapy and ventilator liberation
