Our physicians, physical therapists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners work together in our medical center built to provide urgent care and rapid relief from many forms of back pain, spinal disorders, chronic pain, and neck pain.
Job purposeA qualified anesthesia professional involved in the administration of anesthesia and related services as delineated by the clinical and nonclinical responsibilities described herein.
Duties and responsibilities- Reviewing medical history, evaluating patients and determining proper methods of anesthesia.
- Accurately measuring and monitoring the level and speed at which anesthesia is administered.
- Monitoring patients vital signs to ensure safety.
- Informing the surgeon if a patient becomes unstable.
- Attending to patients needs before, during and after surgery.
- Overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Colorado, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification eligibility, initial certification, or recertification.
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Colorado
- Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Support Course
- Advance Life Support required.
- Ability to correlate clinical data with patients medical condition
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency within the unit
- Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, etc.
- Ability to work within the team
- Hearing
- Ability to push minimum 100 pounds (power cleaning appliances); ability to lift or push minimum 50 pounds (trash and supplies)
- Ability to climb ladder and step ladder.
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking etc., as job may require.
- Extreme heat or cold
- Hearing
- Noise level which may at times require normal hearing protection in the form of ear plugs.
- Heights (RHVAC instructors/lab assistants only)
- Cleaning fluids normally used in custodial duties.
- Paints and solvents.
- Bio-medical waste such as hypodermic needles, body fluids, cultures, specimens, etc.
The pay range for this role is:
95 - 125 USD per hour (Spine One - Lone Tree)
