Compensation

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $53.25 / hour.

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000-$10,000 for selected units (subject to relocation eligibility).

The HCA Nurse Residency Program will provide you with a formalized series of learning experiences, including:

• Advanced clinical training in a specialty area.
• Monthly educational sessions.
• Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor.
• Simulation‑based measurement and evaluation of skills.
• Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
• Collaborative evidence‑based practice project.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered; document care in the patient medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and intervene as necessary.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow‑up, translating complex terminology.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment.
• Other certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the state.
• No previous experience required.
• Some travel may be needed for training.
