Radiology Technologist PRN

Hourly Wage Estimate: $30.76 - $46.17 / hour.

This Radiology Technologist PRN position is part of HCA Health

Responsibilities:

• Operate x‑ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts.
• Perform x‑ray therapy under the supervision of a Radiologist and explain procedures to patients.
• Serve patients across the emergency department, hospital inpatient units and outpatient services.
• Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ranging from neonates to geriatric patients.
• Maintain expert technical and patient‑care skills and deliver quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Maintain current ARRT registry by attending continuing education activities.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, squat, lift patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute‑care experience.
• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate degree or vocational school graduate.
