Surgical Technologist II - Spine and Joint

Job Summary
Perform surgical technician duties in the Spine and Joint Center at HCA Health

ONE Sky Ridge. Support surgical procedures, ensure aseptic technique, manage instrumentation, assist in medication management, provide education, and serve as preceptor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of the scrub role during spine and joint surgeries.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and set up required equipment and sterile supplies.
  • Pull cases as needed and break down cases at the end of the procedure.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures.
  • Understand proper medication management, storage, and maintain a secure medication environment.
  • Provide education on procedures, instrumentation, and equipment as needed.
  • Assist Clinical Nurse Coordinators in case preparation and equipment needs.
  • Function as a preceptor upon completion of HCA Preceptor Course (Call required).

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • (ST) Surgical Technologist credential.
  • Graduate of a vocational school program.

Compensation
Hourly Wage Estimate: $24.12 - $36.18 / hour
15,000 Sign On Bonus
