Seasonal School Events Associate
Music & Arts is passionate about music education and is committed to supporting educators who teach the next generation of musicians. In this seasonal role you will assist with rental events held at schools, completing administrative tasks and providing physical labor, while also interacting with parents and students to facilitate rental transactions.
Responsibilities- Complete administrative tasks (pre‑/post‑event documentation, inventory tagging, etc.)
- Assist with physical labor activities (loading/unloading inventory, event staging/breakdown)
- Use contactless applications to reserve and fulfill customer orders during events
- Communicate professionally with sales reps, leadership, parents, students, educators, administrators, and other key school personnel
- Travel to assigned event prep locations and school event locations; event preparation activities usually occur at Music & Arts warehouses, storage facilities, or retail stores, while events themselves are held at schools
- Perform other duties as assigned and complete all required training
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including evenings
- Reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English proficiency
- Bilingual (Spanish) – ability to understand and be understood by Spanish‑speaking individuals (Preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge of Band and Orchestral instruments (Preferred)
Pay Rate:
Starting at $15.16/hr depending on background and experience.
