Staff Accountant; Hybrid

Position: Staff Accountant (Hybrid)
Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Net Suite and a strong track record in supporting month-end close processes. This role is hybrid, with the flexibility to work remotely once training is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure timely posting in Net Suite.

+ Assist with all aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

+ Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies.

+ Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

+ Maintain organized documentation for all accounting transactions.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and support internal reporting.

+ Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries as needed.

+ Support process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting function.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

+ Proficiency with Net Suite is required.

+ Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting.

+ Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

+ Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
