Overview

Semi Gen has an opening for an Equipment Technician. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will have the opportunity to impact customer satisfaction by meeting demands and paying attention to details for incoming and outgoing materials and products.

Responsibilities

The Equipment Technician will work with the Equipment Maintenance team to support the overall maintenance of all Wafer Fab and Backend processing equipment. Duties will include, but not limited to, performing Preventative Maintenance, Equipment Troubleshooting and repairs, maintaining parts inventory, and handling of virgin chemicals and Hazardous Waste.

  • Perform simple to complex preventative maintenance duties on a diverse array of semiconductor equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
  • Possess a solid understanding of how all tools operate
  • Assist in writing maintenance procedures
  • Perform Equipment installations and upgrades
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and order items as needed
  • Perform maintenance while adhering to proper PPE usage guidelines while always having safety as a top priority
  • Perform daily walks to complete checklists
  • Work with area supervisors to schedule Preventative Maintenance in order to minimize downtime
  • Handling chemicals and Hazardous Waste throughout the facility as needed. Training will be provided
  • Update the Maintenance Management System as maintenance is being performed
Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to follow detailed instructions
  • Some experience with semiconductor type equipment preferred, e.g., vacuum systems, photolithography aligners
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Familiar with the use of basic hand tools
  • Must be able to accurately record data related to tasks performed
