Equipment Technician

Semi Gen has an opening for an Equipment Technician. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will have the opportunity to impact customer satisfaction by meeting demands and paying attention to details for incoming and outgoing materials and products.

• Perform simple to complex preventative maintenance duties on a diverse array of semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Possess a solid understanding of how all tools operate.
• Assist in writing maintenance procedures.
• Perform equipment installations and upgrades.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order items as needed.
• Maintain maintenance activities with proper PPE usage and prioritize safety.
• Perform daily checks and complete checklists.
• Work with area supervisors to schedule Preventative Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Handle chemicals and Hazardous Waste throughout the facility as needed. Training will be provided.
• Update the Maintenance Management System as maintenance is performed.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Some experience with semiconductor type equipment preferred (e.g., Vacuum systems, Photolithography Aligners)
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Familiar with the use of basic hand tools
• Must be able to accurately record data related to tasks performed
• Good communication skills
