Overview
As an Electromechanical Assembly Technician, you will bring complex builds to life by transforming visual instructions and component kits into finished electronic and mechanical assemblies. You will report to:

You start your day reviewing visual aids and product specifications for the build queue. With hand and power tools at the ready, you methodically assemble subassemblies and complete units, applying proven quality practices at every step. You keep your bench organized, maintain an ESD-safe workspace, and verify your own work for accuracy before passing it forward.
What You’ll Do- Assemble electronic and mechanical products according to specifications and visual aids.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to build and integrate components.
- Apply quality procedures to ensure assemblies meet workmanship standards.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, ESD-safe workstation.
- Own the quality and accuracy of your output.
Interfaces: Inter-company personnel across functions to keep builds moving.
People Managed: None.

- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of complicated assembly tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others as needed on the floor.

Skills and Knowledge- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in electronics/mechanical assembly.
- Excellent knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship requirements.
- Understanding and adherence to ESD protocols.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude in problem solving.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
- Experience with optics preferred (e.g., assemblies that include lenses).
