Job Description
- The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing routine assembly, testing, inspection, and documentation activities in a manufacturing environment.
- This entry-level role follows established work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards to ensure proper assembly and operation of components while supporting cross-functional teamwork and operational efficiency.
- Follow and comply with work instructions, safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
- Perform basic testing operations including loading units, initiating test programs, and evaluating pass or fail results.
- Conduct continuous visual inspections of materials and components to identify defects.
- Perform functional testing and cleaning activities at prescribed intervals during assembly.
- Report deviations from standard procedures to appropriate resources for review and authorization.
- Conduct quality inspections at specified intervals.
- Maintain accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Apply basic math skills including addition and subtraction using measurements of weight, volume, and distance.
- Work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonding or adhesive materials.
- Support effective cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.
- Perform job duties in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with company values.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in meetings and working groups to resolve issues and stay informed on new requirements or policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to three years of prior related experience.
- Ability to follow technical specifications, instructions, and documentation.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements.
- Ability to perform basic functions on a computer.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently when required.
- Zero to three years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in completing one to three different operations within a work cell.
- Experience handling small components or precision parts.
- Strong attention to detail.
