Job Description for Business Intelligence Analyst.

Executive Director of Operations and Marketing. FLSA Status:
Salaried – Exempt. Travel:
Up to 10%.

• Develop and manage the organization’s data analytics strategy, delivery processes, and reporting systems for a Planet Fitness franchise portfolio of 60+ clubs across multiple states.
• Define and track KPIs across locations, regions, and departments to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
• Establish a long-term analytics roadmap that supports scalability, consistency, and accuracy as the franchise grows.
• Conduct data audits of all sources (Planet Fitness systems and third-party platforms) and identify data availability, detail level, update frequency, ownership, and quality.
• Collaborate with Planet Fitness franchise groups, PFCSC, and external partners to understand data tracking, measurement, and reporting best practices within the Planet Fitness system.
• Communicate with executives, departments, and ownership to understand reporting needs at enterprise and club levels; translate questions into clear data requirements and standardized metrics.
• Design and implement a standardized data collection, validation, and reporting framework with a defined cadence and high accuracy.
• Establish and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations providing visibility into club-level, regional, and enterprise performance.
• Apply statistical analysis, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities; communicate insights to leadership.
• Identify, implement, and manage analytics tools, BI platforms, and methodologies that support multi-location franchise reporting.

• Experience:
  
  10+ years in multi-system data environments; proven experience supporting strategic planning with quantitative techniques.
• Technical:
  Proficiency with BI tools, data visualization, data quality, and reporting systems.
• Strategic Thinking:
  Strong business acumen; ability to connect data insights to operational and strategic objectives across a distributed organization.
• Communication:
  Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives, operators, and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in franchise, retail, or multi-unit operations.

Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to be covered under company auto policy. Travel up to 10% as noted.

Environment:
Indoor office setting with noise level ranging from quiet to moderately loud. May require occasional travel to clubs; exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures.

Physical:
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods; ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements. Lift 15+ pounds regularly; up to 25+ pounds occasionally.

Vision/Hearing:
See and hear in the normal ranges with or without correction.
