The RoleThe Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) reports directly to the Senior Director, HR Specialty Brands in a shared service HR model. The Manager, HRBP aligns talent and organizational plans with business priorities for their assigned business client groups.
The Manager, HRBP will be a hands-on tactical and strategic partner, working closely with client managers and directors to proactively identify talent and organizational needs, and to collaborate with HR colleagues to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP will act as a change agent—leading, brokering, and facilitating HR solutions for the assigned client area, and delivering value-added services to Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and employees.
Key focus areas include partnering with the client, HR colleagues, and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to consult and deliver on talent matters, drive a high-performance culture, manage performance, employee relations, compensation, leadership coaching & development, talent acquisition, engagement, change management, and other HR operational activities.
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
- Act as a consultative partner with leadership to harmonize HR and business strategies, fostering employee engagement and achieving tangible business outcomes.
- Develops and sustains deep knowledge of the business, builds credibility with leaders to drive change and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Develops and implements talent strategies for performance management, succession planning, career growth, and leadership development to promote an inclusive and equitable workplace.
- Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions and implement action plans.
- Ensure seamless execution of HR programs, optimize processes, and drive alignment with HR policies and best practices.
- Provide guidance to managers and leaders on employee relations issues, collaborate with ER and legal teams to conduct investigations, and identify trends proactively to reduce risks.
- Perform organizational development analysis, identify root causes, and recommend action plans to support business transformation and workforce readiness.
- Analyze workforce trends to forecast labor needs, identify sources, and use HR metrics to guide talent decisions and recommend strategies.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure HR programs meet client needs within an HR Shared Services model, facilitate change, enhance operational efficiency, and identify areas for improvement and action planning.
- Provide operational and strategic support for core HR programs and processes within the assigned client group, including performance management, merit and compensation planning, talent review, and development actions, in collaboration with leaders and CoEs.
- Collaborate with client leaders to evaluate employee engagement and create action plans for a diverse, inclusive, and engaging workforce.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and managers on recruiting strategies for building a diverse, high-performing team. Work with Hiring Managers and Total Rewards to define new roles and job descriptions for hiring or promotions.
