We’re a fast-moving team with a start-up energy, backed by a strong reputation for innovation, service, and delivery. As demand for automated retail continues to grow, we’re scaling our operations team — and we’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Warehouse Operative to join us.
The RoleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role is highly physical and fast-paced, involving regular lifting and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities- Inbound stock management:
Receiving deliveries, checking goods, and ensuring accuracy against delivery notes. - Stock control:
Maintaining accurate inventory records, including stock counting and reconciliation. - Daily stock preparation:
Picking and preparing stock for vending operators using our internal warehouse software. - Stock rotation:
Ensuring stock is rotated correctly, and products are stored to maintain quality and compliance. - In-date management:
Monitoring expiry dates, ensuring stock is used in date order and identifying any items approaching expiry. - Warehouse housekeeping:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. - Loading & unloading:
Assisting with loading vans and moving stock using appropriate equipment. - Quality control:
Checking items for damage, expiry, and accuracy. - Health & safety compliance:
Following all company safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment. - General warehouse support:
Assisting with any ad hoc warehouse tasks as required to support the team.
- Physically fit and resilient — able to stand for long periods and lift heavy stock safely.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Team-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and proactive, with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable using warehouse software and basic IT systems.
- Previous warehouse or stock handling experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to follow processes and instructions
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting
- Experience using warehouse management systems
- Previous experience in retail or FMCG
