We are shaping a more electric and digital future. Join our team in the UK as a Fleet Operations Specialist and play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of our vehicle fleet as we advance our sustainable mobility agenda.

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented professional to manage the daily operational aspects of our fleet across the UK and Ireland. This role is crucial in delivering safe, efficient, and cost‑effective transportation for our employees, actively supporting our accelerating transition towards battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and other sustainable solutions.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Sustainable Fleet Operations
Support the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and other sustainable transport solutions. Manage vehicle selection, EV infrastructure development, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Driver Management & Support
Oversee licence checks, traffic fines, mileage reimbursements, and provide guidance to drivers and internal teams.
  • Policy Compliance & Internal Collaboration
Ensure compliance with fleet policies and regulations. Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance, and maintain up-to-date resources in internal systems.
  • Cost Control & Reporting
Monitor fleet costs, support budget adherence, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Management
Manage daily interactions with fleet vendors, ensuring service quality and resolving issues. Coordinate regular operational meetings and handle invoicing and data needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication
Provide clear updates and support to drivers and internal stakeholders on fleet operations and policies.
  • Reporting & Analytics
Define KPIs, build dashboards, and present insights to HR teams to drive continuous improvement.
What will make you successful?
  • Proven experience (minimum 5-7 years) in fleet operations management, ideally within a large organization across cars and commercial vehicles.
  • Demonstrated experience with vehicle maintenance scheduling, vendor management, and operational cost control.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with drivers, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • An ability to prioritise conflicting priorities and maintain driver safety is paramount.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with a hands‑on approach to operational challenges.
  • Commitment to promoting safe driving practices and sustainable mobility solutions.
