Direct Entry Captain – Embraer E‐Jet; E170​/E190 | Type Rating

🧭 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 2,500 hours+
• Multi‑crew time: 1,000 hours on multi‑crew aircraft
• Currency: Recent on previous type within the last 6 months
• Medical: Class 1
• Language proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 6
• Passport: Valid with at least 12 months remaining

• Accepted licences: UK CAA or EASA (ATPL/fATPL/MPL) meeting UK CAA conversion routes 3, 4, 5 or 6
• Ratings held: IR and ME as applicable
• Open to licence holders: EASA and UK CAA

• Training: Type rating provided on the E170/E190 with command‑focused syllabus
• Stability: Permanent contract with a modern, efficient regional jet fleet
• Development: Ongoing recurrent training and leadership support

• Type experience: E‑Jet type rating/experience desirable but not essential
• Leadership: Proven decision‑making, CRM and team leadership in multi‑crew operations
• Standards: Strong safety, SOP and compliance mindset

• Lead safe, efficient E‑Jet operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Manage the flight deck team, ensuring effective CRM and performance
• Deliver high standards of passenger service, operational punctuality and fuel‑efficient decision making
• Maintain personal proficiency and support a positive safety reporting culture
