As the Reefer Customer Care Manager, you will play a key role in driving service excellence, developing talent, and shaping customer experience in a temperature‑controlled logistics environment. Join us in leading a high‑performing team and ensuring our customers receive best‑in‑class support every step of the way

How you create impact
  • Lead, coach and develop the Reefer Customer Care team to ensure high‑quality service delivery and strong customer relationships.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day operations, including resource planning, training, and coverage for absences.
  • Foster strong collaboration with Shared Service Centres, Operational Care Centres, Branch Management, and Sales.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive service, problem solving, and continuous improvement, supported by NPS measurement.
  • Manage team performance, conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support career development.
  • Oversee compliance with all contracts, SOPs, Quality Management Systems, QSHE standards, and GXP/GDP requirements.
  • Support onboarding and retention of customers, including direct visits and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Drive process improvements using CAPA, TIP, Supplier Management and lean working methods.
What we would like you to bring
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and support team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, plan and meet deadlines.
  • A deep understanding of team dynamics and how to get the best out of individuals.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS 365.
  • Experience in transport/logistics management, ideally within Sea Logistics and reefer operations.
  • Knowledge of Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics systems and processes (preferred).
  • Fluent English language skills.
