Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 30.00 hours per week, 5 days (Mon-Sun). Shift times: 14:00-20:00. Saturday and Sunday may be required per local rota.

Due to operational demand you may need to work Saturday and Sunday. This is an exciting time to join Royal Mail as we reinvent the future of delivery. You will be part of a multi-drop driver team, delivering parcels and ensuring customers have a brighter day. You preload your van and workload, use route-planning technology, and deliver parcels and a positive customer experience.

• Comfortable interacting with customers and acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail.
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Enjoys a multi-drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area.
• Possesses a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Guaranteed hourly rate of £15.50 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
• Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for hours worked over 40 per week.
• 22.5 days holiday (rising with length of service, adjusted to part-time hours).
